Established in 2002,
Rushby-Smith Designs Ltd is a collaboration between husband and wife,
Tim and Penny Rushby-Smith. Together we design and build garden spaces
that are both beautiful to look at and practical to maintain. We hope
that our gardens are not an instant makeover to be frozen in time,
but a truly living space that will develop and improve with the years.
It is vital to us that the garden is a true reflection of our client's
aspirations and needs. Our role is to advise, suggest, think creatively
and deliver your garden. As designers we are fortunate to have such
an amazing range of materials and products to use in gardens today:
brick, stone, wood and other more traditional materials.
traditional materials used in new ways such as slate chippings
and mosaic.
contemporary materials - stainless steel, plastic, glass.
we are particularly interested in exploring the use of recycled
materials in innovative ways.
While our gardens are
always the synthesis of our client's needs and desires we seek to
promote the use of sustainable and environmentally friendly materials
and gardening techniques. We aim to only use timber from FSC certified
sources.
